During this fun, FREE, family-friendly, self-guided event you will see what happens to your trash, recyclables, and compost after you “throw it away.”

Kiwanis Thrift Sale & Zero Waste Festival!
Come out to Kiwanis Thrift Sale which will be open for tours, donations, and shopping from 12pm-4pm! We’ll have music, donuts, and organizations from all over Ann Arbor represented.

Big House Tour
The University of Michigan Athletic Department is striving toward zero waste at Michigan Stadium with an aspirational goal of diverting at least 90 percent of waste from the landfill by recycling and composting. See how the do it with a walking tour and some time in the bowl starting at 8:30am!
Bike Tour (Recycling Center Included)
Join Steve Brown for a leisurely ride from Common Cycle to RAA with stops along the way. Stadium tour included! The tour will depart at 8am sharp in order to make it to the Stadium in time.

30 Minute Tours of the New Recycling Facility (8:30am-12pm)
